Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between County Line Lights ("Company," "we," "our") and the Client ("you," "your") for the sale, installation, and servicing of permanent roofline lighting systems in Ellis County, Texas.

 

1. Scope of Work

The Company will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install the lighting system as described in the approved estimate or sales agreement. Any additional work requested outside the original scope will require a written change order and may result in additional charges.

 

2. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing is based on the measurements, materials, and installation requirements of your property.

  • A deposit of 50% is required to secure materials and installation dates.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of installation.

  • Failure to pay in full may result in suspension of service, removal of equipment (if contractually applicable), or additional fees.

 

3. Installation Requirements

  • The Client must ensure the installation area is accessible and free of hazards.

  • The Company is not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, damaged fascia/soffit, or electrical deficiencies.

  • Any required electrical work outside the standard installation (e.g., new outlets, panel upgrades) is the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise agreed.

 

4. System Operation and App Access

  • The lighting system includes access to a third-party control app. County Line Lights is not responsible for outages, updates, or changes made by the app provider.

  • The Client is responsible for maintaining Wi-Fi connectivity and ensuring adequate signal strength near the controller.

 

5. Warranty

  • The lighting system includes a 5 year manufacturer warranty on components.

  • The Company provides a workmanship warranty covering installation quality for 5 years.

  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by weather events, animals, power surges, misuse, or modifications by anyone other than the Company.

 

6. Maintenance and Repairs

  • Repairs due to accidental damage, or environmental factors may incur service fees.

  • Warranty repairs are provided at no cost when applicable.

 

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made after materials have been ordered will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Installation dates may be rescheduled due to weather or safety concerns.

  • The Company will communicate promptly regarding any necessary changes.

 

8. Liability

  • The Company carries appropriate insurance for installation work.

  • The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • The Client agrees to notify the Company immediately of any issues arising from the installation.

 

9. Photos and Marketing

  • With Client permission, the Company may photograph completed installations for marketing purposes, including website, social media, and printed materials.

  • No identifying personal information will be shared without explicit consent.

 

10. Service Area

County Line Lights exclusively serves Ellis County, Texas. Any requests outside this area may be declined or subject to additional travel fees.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be handled in Ellis County jurisdiction.

 

12. Acceptance

By approving the estimate or signing the Sales & Installation Agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
